Abstract :	Fue el 4 de enero de 1952 cuando Alberto Granado, un bioquímico argentino de 29 años, y Ernesto Guevara, que por entonces tenía 23 años y estaba a punto de terminar los estudios de Medicina, se embarcaron en un viaje para descubrir su continente. Montados en La Poderosa, una motocicleta, iniciaron un recorrido de 13.000 kilómetros que durante ocho meses les alejó de los confortables alrededores de Buenos Aires. En el desierto de Atacama, en el Machu Pichu, en la leprosería de San Pablo o cerca de Iquitos descubrieron un continente de penas y esperanzas. Y, ante todo, se descubrieron a sí mismos. It was on January the 4th, 1952, when Alberto Granado, a 29 year old Argentinean biochemical, and Ernesto Guevara, that then was 23 and about to finish his studies of Medicine, embark on a trip to discover their continent. Riding “La Poderosa”, a motocycle, started a journey of 13000 kilometres, that during eight months moved them away from the comfortable environs of Buenos Aires. In the desert of Atacama, in the Machu Pichu, in the leprosy hospital of San Pablo or close to Iquitos they discover a continent of pains and hopes. And, first of all, they discovered themselves. كان ذلك في الرابع من يناير، 1952، عندما اشرع الكيميائي الارجنتيني البرتو غرانادو ، 29 عاما وارنستو غيفيرا 23 عاما والذي كان يوشك على انهاء دراسته في الطب في رحلة ليكتشفوا قارتهم. ركبوا الدراجة "لا بوديروزا" ، بدات الرحله 000, 13 كيلومترا ، والتي انتقلت خلال ثمانيه اشهر من الراحه بعيدا عن ضواحي بوينس ايرس. في صحراء اتاكاما في مانشو ، في مستشفي ليبروسي بسان بابلو او قريبه ايكيتوس اكتشفوا قارة من الآلام والآمال، وقبل هذا اكتشفوا انفسهم.
